أحمر الشفاه قد يسبب السرطان
حذر خبراء ألمان من أن بعض أنواع أحمر الشفاه قد تسبب الطفح الجلدي والالتهابات، وربما تصل أيضا إلى السرطان. وأشارت دراسة إلى أن بعض أنواع الزينة النسائية تحوي مواد ضارة وحتى سامة.
وذكرت مجلة "أوكو/تست" الألمانية المهتمة بجودة المنتجات أنه تم اختبار درجة جودة 306 من أنواع أحمر الشفاه وأن 121 نوعا منهم حصل على تقييم "مقبول"، مقابل 44 نوعا نال تقييم "مخل".
وأضافت المجلة في التقرير الذي يصدر في عدد شهر أغسطس/آب أن هناك بعض الأنواع الفرنسية الراقية كانت رديئة الجودة.
وقال يورغن شتلبفلوغ مدير تحرير المجلة "لا تساوي بعض المنتجات الباهظة الثمن، قيمة النقود التي تدفع فيها حيث ثبت أن بعض أنواع أحمر الشفاه التي يبلغ ثمنها 2.49 يورو (3.5 دولارات)، كانت أفضل في الجودة من أنواع أخرى يصل ثمنها إلى نحو 30 يورو".
وأثبت الفحص وجود مواد ضارة في أحمر الشفاه حيث إن بعض المنتجات تحتوي على مادة "ترترازين" الصفراء التي تسبب الحكة والطفح الجلدي.
كما سجل المعمل المختص بعملية الفحص وجود مادة الإنيلين السامة في بعض المنتجات والتي يشتبه في أنها قد تسبب السرطان، بالإضافة إلى مواد أخرى مثل البارافين والسيليكون.
وأشارت المجلة المعنية بحماية المستهلكين إلى إلزام شركات مستحضرات التجميل بالكشف عن المواد التي تستخدمها في صناعة منتجاتها، وهو الأمر الذي ترفضه بعض الشركات الكبرى.
